Morning everyone! This post usually goes up on Monday, but as usual, stuff and an interview with Ugly Kid Joe got in the way. They always do. They rocked the stage and were tight as hell. Pre-show Virgin Prozak was also pretty damn good with their weird mix of everything heavy. Looking back at the week we did a Quick Fire Friday session, finished the Stoner Hype for July post and we’re honored to premiere the debut Cobranoid album! What a scorcher! The new and wonderful Tusmørke album got mentioned and the Castle single 100 Eyes. And the totally frightened Ronny wrote about Absorb. And during the weekend we finally published the review for the new Psychlona album Warped Vision. And we had hoped to have the Phil Hey interview about that album finished by now. But it might take a few more days. The rent needs to get paid unfortunately… Let’s hope we finish it quickly and can do more this week! It’s Monday again! The Monday after Sonic Whip, still flying high from that festival. Man, what a ride! From the top of my head, amazing shows by Kadavar, Monolord, Minami Deutsch, Stoned Jesus, Delving, Kanaan, Domkraft, COFFIN, Full Earth, Dhidalah, Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers, Kintsugi Empire and many more! And now we’re preparing for an interview on Wednesday… And the Masters Of Reality concert on Thursday. Followed by Ruff Majik and Monkey3 on Sunday. And then a week or two later Freak Valley happens again. It might just be the best month of May ever! But due to all that and what came before we did not have that much time last week to HiVe. But stil, we did write about the Numbers 40 to 26 on the April Doom Charts, in what we like to call a Stoner Hype post. We also jotted down a few words about Nine Moons and Dätcha Mandala. Not sure what we can do this week. But I know for sure we’re doing another awesome Full Album Premiere again! More on that soon! Enjoy yer week and listen to the good stuff!

It’s Monday again! And last week was filled with crap surrounding work and other obligations, it wasn’t a good week. Not at all. On every personal side conceivable. But there was one glimmer of hope and one point of heavy light. The music. All that heavy goodness! We did not manage to do much, but the stuff we did do, helped us deal with all that other stuff. I mean, that instrumental Holy Tears album! Holy Tears ! Holy hell! Can’t stop spinning it. We also did a single premiere for that bluesy Void Commander song Sweet Depression thanks to Good Boy PR and Majestic Mountain Records. And then came Friday, the First Friday of the new month, and we got to do the April Doom Charts! I mean, and that, those three posts, thinking about it again, put a smile of my face! Makes me forget about the crap that happened. And makes me hope this week will be as good as last in terms of music… Hope yours was good and this one will be better!
