Wow, what an album! I haven't heard something that gives off this type of feel-good energy since Flight b741 from fellow Aussies King Gizzard. Carefree and fun, Datura4 bring their exceptional songwriting to High On The Low Brow, accompanied by skilled musicianship on an array of instruments. A distinct 70's classic rock influence is heard throughout, with organs, slide guitar, and saxophone only adding to the retro charm and allure. This one may just sneak onto your end-of-the-year lists.
