The Polish scene sure has gotten big over the years and has given us so much beautiful stuff. And here’s another promise for ya: Lord Stereo. Comprised out of a truckload of bands such as: The Black Tapes, Oregano Chino, Vavamuffin, Pablopavo i Ludziki, the Monsters from Switzerland, Poker Face and Capital, Lord Stereo promises to steadily conquer the world with their vintage sound. It’s that lovely Hammond that is responsible for that old, brown and gray feeling. That seductive seventies sound that inspires and gets your fired up. Five filthy freaks doing their best to honor Zeppelin, Stooges and Sabbath without becoming a caricature and always implementing their own sound via rolling solo’s and freakishly tight rhythms. It’s fuzzy, it’s grimy and it once again has that special something that makes you want to scream on the top of your lungs: “It’s all happening!”
