The band grooving into the glammed - up swagger of Silverhead without the sequinned cat-suits. ‘Doomed’ recalls the power rock of Detroit as the inimitable Doctor struts like a fighting cock, hurling his meanest Alice Cooper sleaze at the mike. ‘Spellbound‘ explores the AC theme further, chunky and anthemic... You can almost imagine the underwear cascading towards the stage... Excellent musicianship elevates this platter to way more than mere paddling in the Past - it dives in from the top board!
