Forgotten King hails from Stavanger, Norway and will release their debut album The Searcher on August 2nd! Already signed to the awesome Majestic Mountain Records the four piece are off to an incredible start. But this is entirely logical if you heard the first single The Sun and even more when you feast your ears on the single we have the honor premiering today! It’s called Lost and gives you over seven minutes of doom, contemplative in nature, introspective in space and metallic in sound. Founded by Azul Josh from Kal-El the project offers his insights on personal trials and tribulations, metal illness, ego and spirituality. Rife with emotion, this is the doom that might aid others in time of need as well…

Back at the end of 2023 the news came that half of the Psychlona four decided to part ways, in good spirits. Simply because life can demand other choices at some point. Soon after the new single Liberty was released, showing us that the kaleidoscopic colors of the Psychlona sound would still be present in the future. And that future is almost here. Or in fact, it is, with their new single for the upcoming album Warped Vision. Out on Magnetic Eye Records it will arrive on the 29th of September and judging from that first single it will once again be a magic carpet ride indeed! Psychlona is here to whip you up and set you free! Let’s Go!

Ola chico’s! As we return from a three week off grid holiday in Spain, where we listened to loads of the May Doom Charts and even more classics, I realized I could post the Top 10 list of the albums listened to before I left. So, above, is the list of albums listened to in that first week of June. And now we race forward into the month! Which means the June Doom Charts is just around the corner… Can’t wait to see the new Doom Charts edition… As mentioned, it might take a day or two before we are really settled in, and another two to get through those thousand emails… But we’re back and we will get there in the end… Cause we need to check’m out, all of ‘m!

Back from Spain…

We’ve returned safe and sound from our lovely weeks in Spain… Trekking across Picos de Europa, surfing the coast between San Vincente de la Barquera and Langre and partying in honor of San Juan with the great people of Arenas de Cabrales… That village has some good and crazy folk living there! So many good adventures, and so much fun! Loved every minute of it! Can’t wait to go back there… Hopefully soon…… But also…

Can't wait to get back into everything Stoner HiVe, Doom Charts and Heavy Underground related! But we might need a day or two to get back into the swing of things…
