Electricjezus - Грязь поколений

Electricjezus - Грязь поколений
Self released – 2013
Rock, Doom, Sludge, Metal, Core, Punk
Rated: ****

Opening with a creepy, disturbing and occult movie offering the Russian duo of Electricjezus sucks the listener down into sludge filled crypts and turbid pools of blood. Their highly electric mixture of metal, hardcore, punk and doom creates a cesspool of raw and violent emotions. On their debut album Грязь поколений, which translates to something like Dirt or Mud Generations, they not only display an uncanny masterful approach in combining the hard-hitting, grimy and fast-paced with the slow, eerie and scary. They also exhibit an insane array of different tools used to produce this racket. Worn instruments, broken instruments and old military metal scraps from Soviet times. It’s acrimonious, dark and above all damn well good! It does seem to congeal the bleed and leave the ears raw after multiple listens; but isn’t that exactly what we are looking for?

And ofcourse, Lucas has written a much better review on his Paranoid Hitsophrenic!
