The American trio Beef Supreme has been playing together since 2007 and has truly embraced all the possibilities of the Internet age media. They offer their music for free via their homepage and are looking to make their name ring out far across the state, national and continental borders. And their goal is not farfetched for they produced some highly infectious stoner metal with an easy accessible twist. Guitarist and vocalist Nikki BelGrande takes the brunt of the attention with her intense riffs and riotgrrrl seducing voice. Lou Chalupa pounds his skins like a monster on the run and with an impressive tightness. And then there is bestial Macho Grande on bass. He not only provides the necessary room for the others to excel over; he also propels the music ever forward. It gives their first EP not only that heavy twist; it also provides that choppiness we know from punk and even has a bit of roll we know from the rockabilly scene. This is some highly supreme beef and extremely tasty!
